[pandorabots-general] A.L.I.C.E. Bot on Apache server

I host an A.L.I.C.E Bot on my own server it´s an Apache on my PC.The
Interface is  written in PHP and uses a Mysql data base.I´m running
the bot localhost ,but I have the experience that the bot uses the
internet connection (ADSL 2 Mb ) for contacting other clients and bots
on the internet dough.I would like ask if the bot has to connect to
clients on the Internet to function optimally.
But the PHP runs allright localhost and the Msql Database runs on
localhost by default.
