Hello,
I am new to the BOT community.
My infant BOT is named Onto Logic.
As I follow the email thread below, I think of Stephen (steven?) Pinker
Currently at Harvard.
He is French Canadian and has some great insights on language processing.
Just Google ³pinker, the stuff of thought².
He highlights very clearly the ³easy² and hard part of engaging dialogue.

Hello,
After some work I have finally been able to create a bot that implements the
French-language (by Jean-Louis Campion's) version of Alice. There were a few
issues, mainly because the AIML syntax on pandorabots.com
<http://pandorabots.com/> differs slightly from the general syntax of AIML.
Here is the bot I created, her name is mathilde:

Ce n'est pas parfait (this bot needs some fixing).
Greetings,
Alex
