Personally I would indeed create a new bot on http://www.pandorabots.com
<http://www.pandorabots.com/>  since you would be linking to someone else’s
bot and not have control over the content of the brain of this bot.

Hello there,

I am looking for a French-speaking "general-purpose" AIML bot. 
I've googled for about three hours and have found nothing. 

There is however a French-speaking bot called Emilie, but it only knows
about the French educational system:

However, I have found at least two French-speaking AIML sets: 
http://www.alicebot.org/downloads/french_aiml_publish.zip
http://www.alicebot.org/downloads/aiml-std-fr.zip 

Of course I could take one of these AIML sets and create an account on
pandorabots.com and implement it there. But maybe has it been done before,
let's not reinvent the wheel :)

Aux francophones dans la salle: ce serait bien s'il existait déjà un bot
AIML parlant français sur pandorabots.com...
