[pandorabots-general] recognize feelings & responding to serious dangerous talk.

If a visitor brings up such a serious subject as 'being suicidal'
or 'wanting to kill', then I think there is a ethical obligation to flag
such dialog for human review. The problem is false positives. This
problem must have been encountered before, I would think some bots may
have a dedicated subsystem for dangerous talk that needs to be flagged.
Can any one expand on this, or provide code samples??

Just post new answers to your questions regarding feelings in the
training of your bot...

It is certainly possible to create categories in AIML that deal
with this situations. However, I think that you are using the free
downloadable A.L.I.C.E. AIML set. This already contains a large number
of categories and you might need to change a couple to obtain the result
you deisired.
Kind regards,

is there a way i can make my bot recognize some feelings as
"bad" and others
as "good." i run into a problem when a client says "im feeling
suicidal" and
the bot replys "wow its nice to meet someone whos suicidal" or
"im glad your
feeling suicidal" ect. is there AIML i can use to make the bot
know what
sort of feelings should be replied to in that fashion and which
should not?
thanks
