[pandorabots-general] The GaitoBot Editor

I also thought the GaitoBot Editor is very nice. It took me a little while
to find the trick in getting <that>'s in there proper places. The only other
issue I had found was that it would not correctly parse aiml files that I
had already created in a text editor because I had spaces and tabs to format
it nicely for viewing. The importer didn't like those.

I have emailed the creators, and they were very responsive on all my
suggestions though I haven't heard back about the whitespace issue.

I didn't try the testing tool much, but I exported the files to a .aiml file
so that I could use them on pandorabots and it worked pretty well. The first
version that I tried, it put extra tags in that pandorabots didn't like, but
even then it was a pretty easy fix (just edit the file, take a tag out and
change the version number).

The thing I like best about the GaitoBot tool is how it presents all your
categories. If another tool was to take something from this, I would say
that is one of the nicer features to help me keep organized.

Tony
