[pandorabots-general] AIML <-> OWL ??

Do you need real-time conversion, parameter transfer, or just data
conversion?   What kind of character are you trying to create in second
life?  Like an NPC store keeper?   I have read that Sony is soon to
release a completive site to SL that will have an expanded feature set,
including facial expression control of the avatar & sound fully
integrated. I have played with verbot a little myself and I recall in
the user forums that some chap had provided a good converter from AIML
to the local DB format.   (Is open source)  How much time do you have
invested in OWL?  I've heard of it, but I do not recall any details.
What is good about it?  As you may have read, there are several AIML
bots that have been built to work with Haptecs' product.  Why did you
choose Verbots ?
   In regard to programmable search agents, have you looked at BIOMS?

I've got two verbots online at http://www.meta-guide.com/ and
http://www.mendicott.com/byronbay/ .

I started using pandorabots and AIML as a result of trying to port that
functionality into secondlife.com using the metaversetech.com bots.

Its late and my mind is getting a bit rubbery; but, can anyone tell me
in a nutshell if there is any relationship between OWL and AIML?

Is there any way to translate back and forth between OWL and AIML?  (Is
this even possible?)

Are there any known chatbots based on OWL?  (Or is that even possible?)
